With 11 years of professional experience, Ms. Brock attributes her success to God and the support she receives from her family and friends. As a histology supervisor, she is responsible for overseeing operations and all aspects of histology, including accessioning, grossing, embedding, and sectioning of all types of tissue biopsies. She also oversees immunohistochemical staining, which is widely used in diagnosis of abnormal cells such as those found in cancerous tumors. Prior to joining Ameripath Northeast, she worked at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, Beth Israel and the Dermopathology Lab, all in Boston.

Ms. Brock earned a Master of Science in forensic science, with a concentration in crime scene investigation, in 2005 from the University of New Haven. In 2000, she earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Tougaloo College. A member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, she is affiliated with the National Society of Histology and the American Society for Clinical Pathology. She received the Gold Award for the Highest Ranking in Girl Scouts of America.
